Information for Subsequent Renewals From the Florida Board of Osteopathic Medicine: Current licenses expire at midnight, Eastern Time, on March 31, 2024. All Florida Osteopathic Medical Board license renewals must complete the required live attendance courses: 1. Florida Laws and Rules/Professional and Medical Ethics (1 hour) 2. Prevention of Medical Errors (2 hours) Licensees registered with the DEA and authorized to prescribe controlled substances must also must complete: 3. Prescribing Controlled Substances (2 hours) NOTE: this course does NOT have to be taken live and can be completed on-demand. The New York State Osteopathic Medical Society (NYSOMS) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) to provide osteopathic medical education to physicians. NYSOMS designates this program for a maximum of 3.0 AOA Category 1-A CME credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician's participation in this activity. Evaluation data will be compiled and provided to NYSOMS. Feedback regarding program content, location, and other program details will be considered when planning future education activities. Grievances regarding program administration and reporting AOA CME credit will be handled on an individual basis. Participants with grievances that cannot be resolved will be sent to the AOA CCME.
